Manchmal finde ich verhalten sich Dirigenten im Verlaufe ihrer Karierre verdächtig wie Pianisten. Nicht alle, aber die meisten Pianisten haben ein festes Repertoire an Stücken, die sie richtig gut einstudiert haben und die sie immer wieder spielen können, ohne viel Arbeit in lange Neueinstudierungen zu investieren. Viele Dirigenten sind da leider genauso. Da wird das Orchester gewechselt und dann wird das gleiche Repertoire, dass man schon mit anderen Orchestern mehrfach erarbeitet hat, wieder rausgekramt. Versteh ich irgendwie nicht. Man muss das ja nicht in dem selben Maße lernen wie die Musiker. Man wäre also frei alles mögliche mit denen einzustudieren. Anstattdessen: Neuer Posten. Zeit die eingerichteten Partituren auszupacken und wieder das gleiche Zeug zu dirigieren. Nicht das Rattle und die Mahler 6 nicht gut zueinander passen würden, aber er hat die oft genug gespielt und auch aufgenommen, dass es doch nun wirklich nicht sein muss, mit der schon wieder auf Tour zu gehen.

Mao Fujita ist ein wunderbarer Interpret. Er hat die Gabe, Musik so zu spielen, dass sie dem Publikum verständlich und zugänglich wird. Dank Mao Fujita verstehe ich viele Werke und Komponisten besser! Er artikuliert klar und logisch, gestaltet Phrasen und Dynamik so, dass sie nachvollziehbar werden. Alles wirkt so, als wäre es selbstverständlich. Seine Spielfreude wirkt ansteckend. Technisch scheint er keine Schwierigkeiten zu kennen. Sein Anschlag lässt vergessen, dass eine Klaviermechanik existiert. Ich wünsche mir, dass dieser aussergewöhnliche Solist im nächsten Festival 2025 als ARTISTE ETOILE eingeladen wird. Er spielt ja als Solist mit Orchestern, Recitale und immer auch wieder Kammermusik. Als ARTISTE ETOILE könnte er seine ganze Vielfalt präsentieren!

Tchaikovsky is always the best example to follow, Russia is not a temporary war criminal mass murderer property, but a Russian asset like music, I am very happy that Russian musicians are not victims of an unfair disgusting political debate like Olympic athlets are, good luck gorgeous Russian musicians, you are the best reason to believe, another future is possible ❤🎉❤

Es war ein wunderbares Konzert mit wieder einmal einer neuen, jungen, hervorragenden Riege MusikerInnenen aus dem so sehr nahen, bedrängten Osten. Keine Ahnung, wo Daniel Barenboim die Kraft hernimmt, sie in seinem genialen Geist zu formen. Inklusive der Mendelssohn Zugabe funkelte die Musik in so vielen Farben und wunderbar durchgeformten Akkordfolgen. Die Harmonien bestimmen die Form! Es war ein so bewegender Abend mit einer vor Intensität leuchtenden Anne Sophie Mutter. Für mich unvergesslich. Regine Koch

Agree. His intellectual depths re understanding of music, is well beyond his years, as yet he is so open, friendly and honest in his interaction with others, nothing artificial. I am not a musician but I hope to his concerts for years to come!

The miking is so off. I am not sure why this sounds so strange. The performance is fabulous. This is a superb hall. But whoever recorded this performance forgot some button.

I am so honourable to watch the concert in Lucern after 20 hours flight from China to Swiss.After the concert I met the Mastero Haitink in the backstage and take photos with him.I think it is the most unforgetble moment in my life.Thank you Mastero Haitink who let me fall in love with classical music especially Bruckner and Mahler.
